Planning a Beach Wedding
We all heard about the many benefits of having a beach wedding. The fact that it’s romantic, different, and fun makes it one of the most favorite wedding themes. However, before you start preparing for a beach wedding, you should also be aware of some of the disadvantages of beach weddings.
Humidity
Beach weddings are most ideal when held during summer when the sky is always blue and the sun is always up. But there’s one thing that can ruin a perfect summer beach wedding and that’s humidity. There are times when it gets too hot that you don’t even want to get out of the house.
There are guests who’d rather stay indoors than be out in the sun especially when it’s too humid outside specifically the beach. You don’t want you or your guests to get all sweaty during the ceremony.
Strong winds
Another major disadvantage of beach weddings is strong winds. You should already expect this being outdoors and at the beach to be exact. There are times when you feel everything is calm then suddenly it gets really windy. Before you knew it your hairdo is ruined and so are your guests’.

Distance
Unless you’re living near the ocean, you will find it hard to have a beach wedding if you live hours away from the nearest beach. It’s tiring to travel especially before your wedding day. There’s too much stress with all the wedding preparations and the last thing you’ll need is for you to travel hours away. Your guests may also find it very troublesome to travel more so if they’re bringing along their children.
Price
Whether you’re planning to have your beach wedding in a private island or in a private beach you have to prepare a big amount of money to cover for your venue alone.
These are just some of the disadvantages of beach weddings. The good news is you can actually prevent them if you plan ahead and find the best venue for your wedding.
